Dearest people,
Well, we did it. We made it through the very strange January I mentioned in my last missive. In our household, we’ve navigated emergency heart surgery for one of us, COVID for two of the kids, and the other kid being run over by a grown-up whose mind was elsewhere. Thank all the stars, everyone is fine and well on the road to being hale and healthy again.
It has been a purposeful kick in the pants for me. A reminder that for each of us, our time on earth - in these bodies, with these talents, and these desires to make the world a better place in our own unique ways - is finite.
Now that my family is on the mend and my proverbial nurse’s apron back on its hook, I’m approaching the rest of 2025 with a clear intention to be more courageous in being exactly who I’m here to be and doing exactly what I’m here to do, and even more committed to helping others do the same.
If you’re reading these words, then I can tell you now - you are one of the people here to forge a new way of doing life and work. You’re here to move away from hustle, competition, grasping, fear and lack and to pave a path that feels purposeful, calm, courageous, authentic, open-hearted and warm. You’re here to role model this new way, and to inspire others to make the leap.
Thank goodness you’re here on Earth. We need you. Thank you for being you. Thank you for leaning into the discomfort of shedding the old fears and stories to step into who you are here to be. We all benefit from it, and I’m grateful for your courage and light.
